There is never a dull moment on the field when Rohit Sharma is around. It does not matter whether he bats or fields, the India captain makes sure to keep the fans entertained with his antics on the field.

And Rohit Sharma was at his humorous best once again on Wednesday (August 7) while leading Team India in the ongoing third ODI against Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The veteran batsman came up with a hilarious idea to motivate his bowlers as India look to restrict Sri Lanka to a modest total in the must-win game.

Time and again, the India bowlers have opened up about how good a captain Rohit Sharma is. And the India skipper showed it once again by motivating his bowlers with a phrase in Sinhala phrase. Rohit Sharma was heard using the phrase in the seventh over of Sri Lanka's innings when Axar Patel was bowling.

After the left-arm spinner bowled the fifth ball of the over, Rohit Sharma was heard motivating him by using the phrase that roughly means 'That's right, that's right'. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant was also seen smiling after his captain used the Sinhala phrase.

Watch as Rohit Sharma motivates Axar Patel:

Talking about the game, Sri Lanka were on 93 for 1 in the 22nd over at the time of writing this report. The hosts won the toss and elected to bat first once again. Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando justified their team's call to bat first by sharing an 89-run stand for the first wicket. Axar Patel broke the stand by dismissing Nissanka for 45 runs in the 20th over.

Fernando and Kusal Mendis were batting in the middle for Sri Lanka at the time of writing this report. The hosts are currently leading the series 1-0 and a win in the ongoing game will give them a famous series win.

India have not lost a bilateral ODI series against Sri Lanka since 1997 and will be looking to win the ongoing game to keep their unbeaten run safe.
