India National Cricket Team is gearing up for the T20I series against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The two teams, after the enthralling Tests, will be playing the three-match series in the shortest format of the game, which will get underway on Sunday (6th October) in Gwalior.
With the T20I series between the Suryakumar Yadav-led side and Bangladesh around the corner, the Suryakumar Kumar-led side has been putting in the hard yards to prepare for the series. The team, since the last couple of days, has been actively involved in the intense training session.
Head coach Gautam Gambhir also had a keen eye and was impressed with the effort of Abhishek Sharma. After that fielding session, the team was involved in a catching practice, where players took high catches.
Fielding coach T Dilip coach was passing on the instructions to the players and said: “Get your feet where you are throwing. As simple as that. I’m not looking at intensity, but rhythm and flow are something we have to achieve today. And once we break into that, we’ll move and take 15 catches."
The BCCI posted the video on their social media account with the caption: “Gearing up in Gwalior with radiant rhythm and full flow. Team India hone their fielding skills ahead of the INDvsBAN T20I series opener.”

The upcoming T20I series between India and Bangladesh will be a second assignment for Suryakumar Yadav as captain and Gautam Gambhir as the head coach. The duo started their stint in the T20 series against Sri Lanka and won by a margin of 3-0.
The Men in Blue have given opportunities to various IPL stars. The selectors have included Abhishek Sharma, who missed the T20I series against Sri Lanka, in the team. They have also given Mayank Yadav his maiden call-up for the international team, while they have recalled Varun Chakaravarthy as well.
The T20I series against Bangladesh will also be a great opportunity for the young players. India team management has an eye on the T20 World Cup 2026, and they would be looking to lock the core players for the tournament through the bilateral series.
Gautam Gambhir, under whom the team won the Test series 2-0, would want to carry on the good form in the T20I series and win the game.
