Team India ended up with 167/6 in their 20 overs in the fifth and final T20I in Hahare on Sunday against Zimbabwe. The young Indian side has already won the series, leading 3-1 at the moment. They look like firm favourites to win it 4-1.
India lost wickets early getting down to 40/3 in the powerplay. Then there was a rebuild through Sanju Samson (58) and Riyan Parag (22). The duo added 65 together before Parag was dismissed.
The lower-order hitters Shivam Dube (26 off 12) and Rinku Singh (11 off 9) then came to the crease. Both took on the Zimbabwean bowlers. On the first ball of the final over, Rinku Sigh wanted to go over extra cover as Sikandar Raza dropped his catch.
Meanwhile, Shivam Dube had already left his crease to complete the single but Rinku did not respond. He was almost close to the striker's end and there was no way that he could come back. In the end, it was an easy run out as there was no chance for Dube to get back to the crease. He returned back to the crease disappointed and not before he gave a cold stare to Rinku Singh.

In the end, India scored 14 runs off the final over to reach 167/6 in their 20 overs. They did very well to come back into the game from being 40/3 at one stage inside the powerplay. The recovery came first from Samson's second T20I fifty. Then in the final two overs, India scored 30 runs as they scored some crucial runs in the end.
Rinku Singh has now scored 84 runs in the 20th over in T20Is in just a handful of games. He scored 84 off 28 balls with a strike rate of 300 and was dismissed thrice in this phase of play. He played another brilliant knock of 48 in the second T20I when India piled up 234 against Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe are already struggling in the chase having lost two wickets inside the first three overs. Mukesh Kumar has taken both the wickets. The hosts are chasing 168 to win which at this point of time looks to be a tall task at hand. They have already lost the series and hence their shoulders are already down.
The two teams have played 12 T20Is to date with India winning nine games and Zimbabwe three. They won the first T20I to send jitters into this young Indian side but the visitors have responded brilliantly in the next three games.
Sikpper Sikandar Raza was the Man of the Match in the first T20I win. However, he did not inspire his team enough in the rest of the games.
