Imran, after experiencing pain in his chest, took his gloves and rubbed his chest before going down on his haunches. He talked about his situation to the umpire and was also seen explaining something to the fielders of the opposition fielders during the halt.
Even though he looked in pain, Imran Patel gave his best to continue batting, but the pain was too much. The umpires advised him to inform the opposition captain, which he did. However, the pain was constant, and was also seen shaking his left arm, hoping that it was a muscle injury.
The pain then got worse for Imran as he finally decided to walk off the field. He told umpires "My neck and hand are hurting. I will go outside and get a medicine pill." As he walked off the field, he collapsed, and all the fielders ran towards him.
Imran Patel was then rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead. The entire saga was caught live during the match.
