The Indian National Cricket Team ended their decade-long ICC trophy drought by securing victory over South Africa in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024. Virat Kohli, Rinku Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and other management staff joined the celebration by doing the Bhangra after winning the tournament.

The Rohit Sharma-led team secured a thrilling victory over South Africa in the 2024 T20 World Cup final at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday, June 29. The Indian team posted a total of 176-7 in 20 overs after winning the toss. In response, South Africa managed to score 169 runs in a closely contested match.

After the final ball of the match was bowled, many Indian team members were visibly emotional, with some seen in tears or with moist eyes. This emotional response stemmed from the team's recent history of heartbreaking defeats in ICC events, notably their loss to Australia in the ODI World Cup 2023 final at home.
