The India National Cricket Team is currently playing in the third and final ODI against the West Indies at the PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh. During the match, Jayden Seales bowled a ripper to Virat Kohli, who was dismissed for a duck for the first time since the Australia tour in late 2025, where he scored two consecutive ducks.

Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bat first, as the Men in Blue made three changes for the final game, with Nitish Kumar Reddy, Mohammed Siraj and debutant Anshul Kamboj making it to the playing XI. The Men in Blue have already won the series after winning the first two matches by similar margins, winning by 8 wickets.

Virat Kohli, who has been in excellent form, came out to bat early as Gill was dismissed in an unlucky manner. Jayden Seales pitched up the ball around middle, and the ball held its line. Kohli looked to flick it away, missed it, and middle stump was uprooted; the former India captain was back for a golden duck.

The former India captain, after getting out for a duck, joined an unwanted list of most ducks in international cricket for India. He is second on the list with 41 ducks, as he surpassed his former Men in Blue teammate Ishant Sharma. He is just three ducks away from becoming the batter with the most ducks for the Men in Blue in international Cricket.
