India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli is currently part of the Indian playing XI for the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 against the Australia National Cricket Team. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Gabba in Brisbane.
Virat Kohli has been made to work hard in the ongoing game even though he is yet to bat. This is because the Australia National Cricket Team batters are having a great time in the middle as they hammered over 400 runs on Day Two of the ongoing game.
While things haven't gone in India's favour in the game, there have been small moments for Indian fans to cherish. One of them came ahead of the start of the Day 1 in Brisbane, which got washed out due to rain after just 13 overs were bowled on the Day.
Kohli was at the helm of the things as he came up with the hilarious antics and was seen mocking former India National Cricket Team spinner, Harbhajan Singh. The batter was seen dancing before the duo engaged in what seemed a funny talk.

Kohli looked at me and he was like ‘Jeetendra (actor) idhar aa gaya?’ (Did Jitender come here?) - Harbhajan Singh
Later, Harbhajan Singh, on Star Sports, revealed that Virat Kohli mocked him for his blazer. He spoke about how the batter called him actor Jeetendra and sang Naino Mein Sapna, Sapno Mein Sajna (Jeetendra's famous song), in front of him.
Harbhajan Singh also added that he didn't understand what Virat Kohli was doing but the batter came up to him and mocked him. He concluded by saying that after the batter teased him, he realized he made a mistake. He explained:
“Kohli looked at me and he was like ‘Jeetendra (actor) idhar aa gaya?’ (Did Jeetendra come here?) and then he started singing ‘Naino Mein Sapna, Sapno Mein Sajna (Jitender's famous song),’” Harbhajan recalled.
“I didn’t understand what he was doing at first, because he was a little far away. Then he couldn’t resist, so he came closer to me, and then he started doing the hook steps. I was like, I made a mistake man!”
Virat Kohli will be holding the key for the India National Cricket Team with the bat in the first innings
With the Australia National Cricket Team posting over 400 runs, Kohli will be extremely crucial for the team with the bat. If the India National Cricket team have to stage a comeback in the game, they would need something special from the batter in the first innings.
Kohli, who slammed a magnificent ton in the first Test, returned with scores of 7 and 11 in the pink-ball Test. He would be keen to make a big impact on his team and help them stage a comeback in the match.
