Mohammed Siraj has started a new journey in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After plying his trade for Royal Challengers Bengaluru for years, the right-arm pacer is representing Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025.

The Hyderabad pacer had started his journey in the IPL in 2017 with his hometown franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, things did not go well with SRH, and he was released after just one season. In 2018, Mohammed Siraj was signed up by RCB, and he stayed with the franchise till the 2024 season.

During his journey with the franchise, Mohammed Siraj honed his skills and rose through the ranks steadily. The franchise also backed him throughout the journey as the pacer showed remarkable improvement and became one of the best pacers in the country. His journey with RCB could be seen as one from obscurity to recognition.

However, RCB decided to part ways with Siraj ahead of the 2025 season. They retained left-arm pacer Yash Dayal but decided to release the India star. RCB were in no mood to re-sign him as they did not even opt for the RTM card in the auction before Gujarat Titans secured his services for INR 12.25 crore.
