Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli came up with a torrid effort on the field during the game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings went down to the wire with both teams giving their best. The game went to the last over only because of the poor effort that came from the Rajat Patidar-led side while defending a total of 213 runs.

One of the worst efforts from Virat Kohli as he dropped Ravindra Jadeja in the 19th over. It's fair to say that it could have cost Royal Challengers Bengaluru big time as the Chennai Super Kings all-rounder went on to play a brilliant innings under pressure. But thanks to bowlers, the hosts won.

On the first ball of the over, Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a half-volley on the stumps, to which Ravindra Jadeja lofted flat towards long-on, where Virat Kohli was stationed. It was an easy catch for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, but he bottled the chance to surprise many.

Virat Kohli ran to his right at long-on as the ball hit his body after missing his hands and ran away for four. The senior batter was extremely disappointed with the effort, and even skipper Rajat Patidar looked unhappy but clapped in encouragement.
