India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli has been live wire on the field in the ongoing game against Pakistan National Cricket Team. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai is hosting the fifth game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

India have been magnificent with the ball in the ongoing game against Pakistan. The Rohit Sharma-led side has picked wickets at regular intervals and has made sure that they restrict the run flow as well, putting the opposition under pressure.

The fielding has been decent as well and it was evident during the 47th over of the innings when Virat Kohli took a stunning running catch to remove Naseem Shah off the bowling of Kuldeep Yadav. The wrist-spinner bowled a delivery to which the batter chipped it towards long-on.

It seemed that the ball would land safely, but Virat Kohli came charging in from the deep. He took a brilliant low catch as the Pakistan National Cricket Team lost their eighth wicket.

Naseem Shah looked settled at the crease and was providing great support to Khushdil Shah, but he couldn't carry on. The Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer ended with an innings of 14 runs off 16 balls and slammed one boundary during his knock.

With the catch of Naseem Shah, Virat Kohli picked his 157th catch in ODIs and became the Indian player with the most catches. The India National Cricket Team batter also took the catch of Khushdil Shah at the end and now has 158 catches in his career, going past Mohammad Azharuddin.

Coming to the match, India bundled out Pakistan National Cricket Team for a total of just 241 runs. Kuldeep Yadav picked three wickets while others supported him well as the Rohit Sharma-led side didn't let settle the opposition batters at all.

Saud Shakeel was the top run-getter for the Pakistan National Cricket Team with his innings of 62 runs. Skipper Mohammad Rizwan also played a crucial hand of 47 runs before Khushdil Shah played a great hand of 30 runs that took Pakistan National Cricket Team to the total of over 240.

India would be hoping to chase the target and book their place in the semi-final. Rohit Sharma (20) and Shubman Gill (46) started the chase well while Virat Kohli with his half-century is ensuring that team is right on track.
