Virat Kohli, who opened the innings for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, has looked in a threatening mode with the bat. The right-hander came out all guns blazing as he took the attack to the Mumbai Indians bowlers to take his team off to a flying start with the bat.

Virat Kohli attacked all the Mumbai Indians bowlers, in particular Trent Boult, and made the Wankhede crowd chant "RCB RCB". The batter has timed the ball to perfection and has put Mumbai Indians under massive pressure, slamming bowlers all over the park.

Virat Kohli slammed his second half-century of the season as he hit fifty in just 29 balls. He ended up with an innings of 67 runs off 42 balls, batting with a strike rate of around 170. He also slammed 8 fours and 2 sixes during his stay at the crease.

Virat Kohli also shared a magnificent 91-run partnership with Devdutt Padikkal. The left-hander, who batted at three, played a brutal innings as well as he scored 37 runs off just 22 balls, hitting 2 fours and 3 sixes during his stay at the crease.

Although, he failed to take a single wicket, he was economical and gave away just 29 runs in the 4 overs that he bowled.
