Virat Kohlis Epic Celebration After Ravichandran Ashwin Bamboozles Devon Conway

New Zealand National Cricket Team batter Devon Conway had a magnificent outing with the bat in the ongoing first Test against the India National Cricket Team. The game between the two teams is taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

New Zealand opening batter Devon Conway asserted his authority over the Indian bowlers in the game. He played positively right from the start and made sure that he took his team to the first innings lead pretty quickly. The Southpaw put pressure on the bowlers, slamming them all over the park.

Devon Conway troubled the Indian bowlers and made them think out of the box. He batted at a brisk rate and notched up a terrific half-century. After that, he didn't look back as he played crisp strokes and was marching on towards the Test century.

However, his stay at the crease was cut short by the brilliance of Ravichandran Ashwin. The off-spinner bowled a full ball from around the wicket. Devon Conway played the pre-meditated shot and got himself into a tangle. He couldn't put the bat on the ball and lost middle and leg stumps.

What caught the attention of many was the celebration of Virat Kohli after Ravichandran Ashwin removed Conway. The premier India batter gave an epic send-off to the New Zealand batter and was pumped up.

Devon Conway missed his well-deserved century by 9 runs

Conway would be gutted with the way he got out. He missed his well-deserved century by 9 runs. The opening batter ended with an inning of 91 runs off 105 balls. He put his team at the top and helped the team take a first-innings lead of over 100 runs on the board.

The wicket of Conway was planned perfectly by the Indian team. The batter attacked spinners with sweeps. The batter attempted to be aggressive against Ravichandran Ashwin in his first spell and made skipper Rohit Sharma take the off-spinner out of attack.

But this time around, Ravichandran Ashwin knew Conway would try to play aggressively again on his arrival for the second spell and knew he would go for the reverse sweep. He outsmarted the batter and denied the batter his century just a few overs ahead of the stumps.

New Zealand had a terrific outing on Day 2

New Zealand had a terrific outing, and it's fair to say that they outplayed the India National Cricket Team on Day 2 of the game. They first bundled out the Rohit Sharma-led side for 46 runs and then came with a staggering effort with the bat in the first innings.

Apart from Conway, Will Young (33) played a vital hand in The team. After that, Rachin Ravindra (22*) and Daryl Mitchell (14*) took the stage and ended the day on high for New Zealand. At stumps on Day two, the visitors were 180 for three and had a lead of 134 runs.
