India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli has been actively involved in the team's game plan during the ongoing second Test against Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The game between the teams is underway at the Green Park in Kanpur.
The second Test between India and Bangladesh is going down the wire. The way the Rohit Sharma-led side played on Day 4 of the game after two days got washed out has been terrific. Their aggressive brand of play has ensured that we will have a result on the last day.
One of the main factors behind that has been the game plan that they have been working on. After the terrific effort with the bat, they came up with a vital bowling performance, especially with Ravichandran Ashwin being right on the money and helping pick the team two quick wickets.
However, what caught the attention of many was the thing that happened ahead of the wicket of Zakir Hasam. Virat Kohli was the one who read the way the batter was playing and he made sure that he passed on the insights to the off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.
Virat Kohli was seen advising Ravichandran Ashwin that he should try to take the ball away from the left-hander as it might trap him in lbw or the ball might take the outside edge. The off-spinner did exactly that, and it resulted in the wicket of the opener of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.
Ravichandran Ashwin bowled a flighted delivery from round the wicket. The ball landed on the leg stump and straightened. Zakir Hasan came forward and played down the wrong line. He got beaten on the outside edge and was struck on the back pad. The batter took the review, but ball-tracking showed it to be hitting the middle stump.

Zakir Hasan didn't make a bigger impact with the bat in the ongoing second innings. He scored just 10 runs off 15 balls and with his wicket, Bangladesh National Cricket Team lost their first wicket for 18 runs. He stitched an 18-run partnership with Shadman Islam (7).
Ravichandran Ashwin didn't stop there as well. After that, he went on to remove Hasan Mahmud as well. The off-spinner floated the ball up and invited the batter to have a go. He swung across the line and missed the ball as it sneaked past the inside edge and crashed into a leg-stump to take two Bangladesh wickets. They would be keen to pick the remaining 8 wickets of the opposition tomorrow and look to chase the target.
Virat Kohli had a decent outing with the bat in the ongoing game. He batted with a positive mindset and ensured that teams got quick runs. He ended with 47 runs off 35 balls. Based on the vital effort with the bat and blows by Akash Deep in the end, India posted a total of around 285 runs on the board.
