Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar was right on the money for India when he took to the crease on Sunday with the bat for the Indian team against Australia. Sundar, who made his Test debut for the Indian cricket team in the final Test of the series against Australia, smacked a scintillating no-look six to Nathan Lyon on the third day of the Brisbane Test.
Sundar has had a splendid Test debut so far for team India in the absence of Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin. The young Indian all-rounder took 3 wickets on his debut as India bowled first. Then, he stitched a 123-run partnership with Shardul Thakur for the 7th wicket to put India right back in the Test match.
