Yashasvi Jaiswal enters elite company with seventh Test century
With his seventh Test hundred, the 23-year-old has joined the elite list of players who have struck seven or more centuries before turning 24 in the format. Only three legends, Don Bradman (12), Sachin Tendulkar (11), and Garfield Sobers (9), have more centuries by this age.
Jaiswal becomes the joint fourth player in the Test history to score seven hundred before turning 24. Javed Miandad of Pakistan, Graeme Smith of South Africa, Alastair Cook of England, and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson also had seven Test centuries each by this age.

India dominates after early KL Rahul setback in Delhi Test
Meanwhile, India has taken full control of the ongoing second Test against the West Indies, riding on a brilliant century by Yashasvi Jaiswal. After losing KL Rahul early in the morning session, Jaiswal and Sudharsan steered the Indian innings and turned the match in their favor.
The scoreboard reads 220 for 1 before the final session on Day 1 of the ongoing second Test against the West Indies in Delhi. Sudharsan got a lucky break before the tea break when Justin Greaves created a simple chance at mid-wicket, but Jomel Warrican failed to hold on.

The Arun Jaitley Stadium pitch is proving to be perfect for batting, and India looks set to capitalize on the conditions. Jaiswal is in sublime form, and with his century already under his belt, he will aim to convert it into a big score against the straggling touring side.
On the other hand, Sudharsan is marching towards his maiden Test hundred. The West Indies bowlers have tried everything to break the partnership but have had little success.
Their pacers have struggled to make an impact, while only Warrican among the spinners has managed to create some pressure. Now, they would be hoping to make a breakthrough against India’s dominant batting lineup.
