A recent fun banter between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Washington Sundar has been caught on the stump mic during the final over of the West Indian innings on Day 2 of the second Test. Jaiswal has been heard teasing Washington Sundar, calling him out as 'Washing Powder Nirma.'

Any Test cricket fan who has been witnessing it over the years would agree on the fact that the red-ball game is more entertaining than the modern-day T20 games, which are often filled with too little time for catching up with all the on-field action.

A batter who has been lauded over the last two days, Yashasvi Jaiswal, has unleashed his funky side to the world with light-hearted remarks on the Indian all-rounder, which instilled a cheer of laughter into wicket-keeper Dhruv Jurel as well.

Watch: Yashasvi Jaiswal teases Washington Sundar with playful 'Washing Powder' remark

The incident took place in the final over of the game, when Washington Sundar was called in to bowl the final over of the game, giving a break from the continuous spell of the experienced spin duo Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav.

As Sundar lined up for his run-up, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who stood in the slips, called out to him as 'Washing Powder Nirma.' This immediately led the team to burst into laughter, as Dhruv Jurel, the man standing adjacent to Jaiswal, was seen giggling after the remark.

The batter looked pretty happy, without any disappointment for having missed out on a well-deserved double century, after he was dismissed early in the day, post a mix-up with captain Shubman Gill on the crease.

Jaiswal became a milestone figure of Indian Test cricket in no time

Yashasvi Jaiswal has returned with superb form in the second Test. His century came back on Day 1, when he almost single-handedly stole the show with a stellar knock of 173* runs. This marked not only his seventh Test hundred, the second most by an Indian batter aged less than 24, but also his fifth 150+ score.

No other player than the great Donald Bradman had more 150+ scores as a Test batter before the age of 24. Also, Jaiswal is officially now the third-highest centurion among Indian players in the history of the World Test Championship.

With 3 hundreds in India, 2 in England and 1 each in Australia and the West Indies, Yashasvi Jaiswal has 7 centuries in the WTC, with Rohit Sharma (9) and Shubman Gill (10) above him on the list. He also surpassed 3000 Test runs with this innings.

Sunil Gavaskar asks Yashasvi Jaiswal to score 'granddaddy hundreds'

After the end of Day 2's play, when Yashasvi Jaiswal joined Harsha Bhogle for the post-match interview, he was questioned on his intent since 5 out of his 7 hundreds were big daddy hundreds in the form of 150+ scores.

He too revealed that he plays according to the flow and always sets a goal in his head for what he looks to achieve for himself as well as for the team. Harsha's fellow commentator, the Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar, had then wished Jaiswal for his success and asked him to score 'granddaddy hundreds' in a loving gesture.
