Stand-in Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane has been the talk of the town in recent times. Team India won the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy under Rahane’s leadership. Cricketers all over the world have praised how Rahane dominated the Australians with his sharp skills.

Ajinkya Rahane is the Indian vice-captain in the Test format. However, as Indian skipper, Virat Kohli returned home for paternal leave after the first Test. Ajinkya Rahane was thus named the Indian skipper for the remaining of the series. He led India in the second Test as the Men in Blue dominated the majority sessions of the game.

Ajinkya Rahane shared a special message for the Indian fans after the win. Team India won the game on Tuesday and Rahane came up with an Instagram story to thank the fans.
