West Indies takes on South Africa for a two-match Test series after being clean-swept by England in the previous Test series last month. They are placed last on the points table with just one win from the previous seven Test matches.

West Indies are by Kraigg Brathwaite. He failed to inspire the team to beat England in an away-from-home contest. This time they are playing at home against South Africa. However, their record against West Indies is not that great having just won three out of the 32 previous Test matches.

Kemar Roach has made a comeback to the Test squad after missing out on the England series with a knee injury. Alzarri Joseph has been rested as Shamar Joseph continues to be a part of the side.

If West Indies loses this Test series at home, they will fall way behind on the table and their chances of making the WTC final will almost be over.

The condition of Test cricket in West Indies is not that great with the side not getting enough support from the board.

Recently, Clive Lloyd, the former World Cup-winning skipper urged the wealthier board to help West Indies Cricket revive Test cricket by providing enough revenue.
