West Indies and New Zealand go head to head in Trinidad on Thursday, June 13, from 6 am IST. This is a crucial game for both teams, more so for the Kiwis who lost their previous game against Afghanistan.

New Zealand started their campaign very late almost a week after the tournament had started. This did not work in their favour as Afghanistan outplayed them completely in their previous game.

This is a crucial game for New Zealand for more than one reason. This is a must-win game for them to stay alive in the tournament. They looked very rusty and out of sorts against Afghanistan. None of them were able to read the Afghanistan bowlers and they looked very out of sync.

Another defeat for the Kiwis will very much end their campaign as they have a very poor NRR. A big win over the Windies will help them to recover a bit.
