A humorous moment involving Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli has gone viral after a Nagaland politician amusingly forgot the cricketer’s name during an event. Temjen Imna Along, Minister of Higher Education and Tourism in the Nagaland Government, was asked about his favorite cricketer.
The BJP MP has immediately named Sachin Tendulkar as his all-time favorite cricketer, but he stumbled when asked about a current-era player. Instead of saying Virat Kohli, the Nagaland minister jokingly referred to him as “Anushka Sharma’s husband.”

On being asked why he recognized Kohli by his Bollywood actress wife, the Minister of Higher Education & Tourism said, “I remember Anushka Sharma because she loves Virat Kohli.”

Notably, Anushka and Virat got married in December 2017, in Tuscany, Italy, after dating each other for several years. They have two children, Vamika and Akaay. The couple was recently spotted enjoying a family outing in London with their son, Akaay.
Anushka and Virat were seen taking a leisurely stroll, with Anushka gently pushing the stroller while Virat walked beside her, keeping a watchful eye on their little one. Earlier this week, there were reports that the couple is planning to move to London permanently.
