The Ranji Trophy 2024-25 match between Delhi and Railways gained significant attention due to Virat Kohli's return after twelve years. However, Kohli's comeback was short-lived as he was dismissed cheaply in the first innings on Day 2. Right-arm pacer Himanshu Sangwan was the bowler who took Virat Kohli's wicket.
Sangwan was hit for a powerful straight drive by Kohli on the third ball of Delhi's 28th over. Fans seemed to believe Kohli had well and truly arrived. However, on the very next delivery, Sangwan bowled a brilliant ball that breached the batter's defense and rattled the stumps through the bat-pad gap.
