For the must-win match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have been missing the services of multiple important members.
At the toss, LSG captain Rishabh Pant mentioned that Josh Inglis and Mohsin Khan are not in the playing combination to take on RCB. It is a major setback for the team, as both of the players are considered a crucial part of LSG. Pant informed that because of injuries, both of them were ruled out.
Why are Josh Inglis and Mohsin Khan not playing today's match vs RCB?
Avesh Khan, another fast bowler of the team, is also not selected in the playing eleven for tonight’s match. In place of them, LSG has named Digvesh Rathi, Arshin Kulkarni and Shahbaz Ahmed as replacements.
“Few changes in our team. Some injuries - Inglis and Mohsin Khan miss out. The only thing is to move with clarity. We know we're a top team, but the main thing is clarity. We have a few changes in the batting order. Having a stable environment is needed, but we need to make changes at times. Looks like a 180-190 wicket, a better wicket than most of the other games,” the LSG captain informed at the toss.
LSG will miss the firepower of Josh Inglis
Rishabh Pant mentioned the batting combination. Against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, they may have considered some changes in the batting order. It will be interesting to see the changes. In the ongoing season, the franchise has so far done a lot of experiments with the batting order and playing combination.
In their previous match, Nicholas Pooran batted brilliantly, and Mitchell Marsh was also good. As the skipper mentioned, Josh Inglis is injured and not going to take the field. The team can miss his service, as the batter is flexible and can contribute both from the top order and the middle order.

Amid multiple injuries, on a positive note for the Lucknow Super Giants, Digvesh Rathi has returned in the playing eleven to face the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Mohsin Khan's absence will create problems for LSG as he has been their best bowler.
