With Hard Work And Sacrifices, Dreams Become Reality – Andre Russell Gifts Himself Luxurious Mercedes-Benz AMG Car

Star West Indies National Cricket Team all-rounder Andre Russell has gifted himself a luxurious Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R car after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

Russell was retained by the two-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for INR 12 crore ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 mega auction along with Venkatesh Iyer, Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) didn’t have a good run in the 15th edition of the tournament under their new leader, Shreyas Iyer, as they finished at the 7th spot on the points table with only 6 wins from 14 games.

Russell, who was one of the few bright stars for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2022, gifted himself a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R car after the marquee tournament.

On Saturday, June 11, Andre Russell took to Instagram to share the first look of his brand new car. He posted a video where he was seen entering his car and he stated that the dreams become reality with hard work and sacrifices.

Notably, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R car is considered one of the most stylish and luxurious cars and it costs over INR 2 crore.

Also, Russell’s former West Indies and Kolkata Knight Riders teammates including the likes of Chris Gayle, Daren Sammy and Suryakumar Yadav congratulated him for getting himself a new car.

Talking about the performance of Russell in the Indian Premier League 2022, he delivered a brilliant all-round performance for the Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders.

The West Indies powerhouse played all 14 league stage games for the Kolkata Knight Riders and he scored 335 runs at an average of 37.22 and a strike rate of 174.48 with his best score being 70*.

Also, with the ball, he bagged 17 wickets for his team at an average of 16.35, an economy of 9.87 and a strike rate of 9.94. Currently, Russell, who last played international cricket for West Indies in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, is on the break but he is expected to make a comeback to the national team very soon.
