Women’s T20 Challenge 2022 Squads Announced; Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma Set To Lead The Teams

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squads for My11Circle Women’s T20 Challenge 2022, which will be played from May 23 to May 28 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Women’s Selection Committee has picked three squads and each squad comprises a total of 16 players.

The Women’s T20 Challenge 2022 will be the 4th edition of the tournament, which was established in 2018. The tournament consists of 4 games, including 3 group stage games and a final.

Meanwhile, three teams – Velocity, Trailblazers, and Supernovas will be competing in the tournament, Harmanpreet Kaur will lead Supernovas, Smriti Mandhana will lead Trailblazers and Deepti Sharma will be captain of Velocity.

Also, a total of 12 overseas players from South Africa, England, West Indies, and Australia will participate in the Women’s T20 Challenge 2022.

“The best of Indian women’s cricket will combine with some of the leading stars from South Africa, England, West Indies and Australia. A total of twelve international players will compete in this year’s Women’s T20 Challenge,” BCCI stated.
