Yashasvi Jaiswal Test ranking after IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot

Following an impressive performance in the third Test match against England, Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has ascended in the latest ICC ODI rankings released on February 21. Notably, Yashasvi Jaiswal secured a position in the top 20 rankings for red-ball cricket.

Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed his second consecutive hundred in the ongoing five-match home series against England. Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 214 runs off 236 balls, including 14 boundaries and 12 sixes. India registered a 434-run victory, taking a 2-1 lead in the series.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has climbed 14 places to reach the 15th position in the latest rankings. He achieved his career-best ranking with 699 points. Despite not playing in the series, Virat Kohli remains the only Indian in the top 10 batting charts, standing in seventh place.

After scoring a century in the first innings, Rohit Sharma has moved up to 12th position, while Shubman Gill has climbed three spots to 35th. Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel have made their entry into the rankings, securing the 75th and 100th positions, respectively.

Kane Williamson solidified his leading position in the batting rankings by scoring a century in his seventh consecutive Test. David Bedingham of South Africa has advanced to the 50th position in the rankings. Ben Duckett has jumped 12 places to the 13th position.

Ravindra Jadeja Reaches Career Best Points In Tests

Ravindra Jadeja’s outstanding performance in the match propelled him to 34th position among batters and sixth position in the bowling rankings. Additionally, Jadeja strengthened his top position in the all-rounders’ rankings, reaching a career-best of 469 rating points.

Jadeja scored 112 runs off 225 balls in the first innings in Rajkot. He added an impressive 204-run partnership to rescue the team. He also achieved a five-wicket haul in the second Test. He earned him the Player of the Match award for his all-round performance.

New Zealand’s fast bowler William O’Rourke has entered the rankings at the 61st position after an impressive debut performance. O’Rourke was named Player of the Match for his nine wickets. The Kiwis secured their first-ever Test series victory against South Africa.

Pathum Nissanka Secures 11th Place In ICC Men’s ODI Batter Rankings

Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka has ascended from 18th to 11th position in the Men’s ODI Rankings following his match-winning century against Afghanistan. Afghanistan’s all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai has improved to 48th place in the men’s ODI batting charts.

Aasif Sheikh (77th) of Nepal and Bas de Leede (96th) of the Netherlands have moved up in the batting rankings in ODI cricket, while Bernard Sholtz (17th) of Namibia, Lalit Rajbanshi (54th), and Sompal Kami (76th) of Nepal have made progress in the bowling rankings.

Following Sri Lanka’s victories in the first two T20Is vs Afghanistan, Wanindu Hasaranga has risen to the second position in both the bowling and all-rounders’ rankings in the Men’s T20I category. Ibrahim Zadran has climbed eight places to 21st in the batting rankings, while Fazalhaq Farooqi has advanced five places to eighth in the bowling rankings.
