Afghanistan take on Zimbabwe in the last third and final T20I in Harare on June 14. The match starts at 4.30 pm IST (1 pm local time). The Afghan side has already bossed the series 2-0 and will be looking for a whitewash. The African nation is yet to win a game in the series.

Interestingly, Afghanistan are placed second in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League Standing with 100 points from 123 games where they have won 10 and lost just two. In the ICC T20I rankings, they are placed 10th while Zimbabwe on 12th.

The last game thus have different motivations for the two teams. Both are fighting for qualifying into the main round of the ODI World Cup next year. Zimbabwe also have their eyes on qualifying for the T20 World Cup later this year.

Afghanistan are on a good winning run in the series. They won the first ODI by 60 runs while the next two by 8 and 4 wickets respectively. They started the T20I series with a six-wicket win and then defended 170 in the second T20I.

Mohammad Nabi as skipper of the side scored an unbeaten 43 in the second T20I. In the process, he went past 5000 T20 runs as well. Alongside him, Rashid Khan and Najibullah Zadran shared the responsibility as well.

Zimbabwe, on the other hand, have had few positives from the series. They did not have any standout performance so far in the series and were outplayed in all three departments of the game.
