The legendary cricketer from Pakistan Shahid Afridi himself revealed that he shortened 5 years of his age to improve his chances in the selection for the national team. Recently, after writing his biography, Shahid Afridi ended the mystery around his age, revealing that he was born in 1975 and not in 1980 as the official records state.

“I was just nineteen, and not sixteen as they claim. I was born in 1975. So yes, the authorities stated my age incorrectly,” Afridi has written in book titled ‘Game Changer’.

However, none of them had any issues with it as Shahid Afridi has been sensational for Pakistan over the years. Even if he provided the correct age, he would have easily found a place in the team for his stunning cricketing skills.

How many of you believe Parthiv Patel is 34-year old? If Parthiv trims his hair and shave off his beard, there would be no one questioning him even if he keeps wickets for an under-19 team. The stylish southpaw is still the youngest wicket-keeper to represent India in Test format of the game when he was 17-year old.

On his birthday, Virender Sehwag wished him quoting ”Happy Birthday Dear Nikke urf Chota Chetan @parthiv9. May you keep shining and remain so Nanha Munna that you can play in u-19 for lifetime.”

Currently, he is playing for Gujarat team and leading them across the formats. In IPL, he is one of the few to represent many teams in the tournament. Currently, he is with Royal Challengers Bangalore.

India’s young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant turned 22 recently. Touted to be MS Dhoni’s successor across formats, the left-hander has made a mark not only with wicketkeeping records and aggressive batting but also with his banter with opposition batsmen behind the stumps.

He has also been a force to reckon with especially in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) where he represents Delhi Capitals (DC). Much like the others in the chart, Rishabh Pant doesn’t seem like he is 22-year old, as he looks at least a couple of years older than he is at the moment.

However, there are no evidences or enough proofs to submit. And also, there are no questions, as he is going to be the next big thing in Indian Cricket.

The youngster is ruling the world cricket with his exceptional skills at the moment. Rashid Khan recently became the youngest Test captain when he took the field against Bangladesh in a one-off Test match. However, his looks always seems like telling us that he is not the kid, whom we are thinking about.

Recently, his skipper in IPL, David Warner hilariously referred to Rashid as a 25-year old on his birthday. It may be because Rashid looks a bit older than his age or could be one of the few, who know his real age. However, as per the records, Rashid Khan is just 21 at the moment.
