Of late, the Indian Cricket Selectors are receiving a lot of flak for their choice of players. The selection committee had come under the scanner when Karun Nair and Murali didn???t get their opportunities. Meanwhile, the latest to question BCCI is the former Indian opener Aakash Chopra, who is not happy with Umesh Yadav???s selection ahead of Siddarth Kaul and Deepak Chahar.
Earlier, for Asia Cup 2018, BCCI overlooked the services of Umesh Yadav and asked Siddarth Kaul and Deepak Chahar to join the team. Chahar was also excluded in the initial squad that was announced for the initial two matches of the series.
Signs of getting closer to ICC World Cup 2019? questions Aakash Chopra
Aakash Chopra highlights the point that BCCI overlooked youngsters and gave a call-up to Umesh Yadav, who has been ousted from the limited-overs team after a poor performance in England.

Meanwhile, Siddarth Kaul and Deepak Chahar are putting fine performances in domestic circuit to push for their place in the squad. However, surprisingly, BCCI asked Umesh Yadav to play against Windies ahead of the other two youngsters.
Aakash Chopra pointed out the same by asking whether this is the sign of getting closer to the ICC World Cup 2019. Selectors usually go with the senior members for the big tournaments, which raised the doubt for Aakash.

Digging into his tweet, it read, ???Umesh Yadav to replace Shardul for the ODIs. Chahar and Kaul were chosen ahead of both Shami and Umesh in Asia Cup???now, the seniors are back. Signs of getting closer to the World Cup????
It seems like Aakash Chopra has a valid query. However, Umesh Yadav delivered the sound performance on the other day at Hyderabad to show his worth to the world. All in all, it would be interesting to see how he utilizes his chance.
