Indian swashbuckling white-ball opener Shikhar Dhawan recently shut-down a troll on social media courtesy of a hilarious comment after the latter had passed off a distasteful remark on the champion white-ball cricketer.

It all started when Shikhar Dhawan, who recently surpassed Suresh Raina to become the third-highest run-getter for Team India in the shortest format of the game, posted a picture with fellow cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and Deepak Chahar on his official Instagram handle.

Dhawan had proceeded to give it a hilarious captain, which read-“Aankhein nikaal ke gotiyaan khelta hoon gotiyaan.”

In the comment section, one of the users proceeded to pass-off a distasteful remark on not only his style-of-batting but also his looks. But the Indian opener remarkably did not lose his cool and responded in a brilliant manner.

The user wrote “Tatti Shakal…Tatti Gameplay?” to which Shikhar Dhawan replied, “hanji aapke gharwaale bhi yehi keh rahe they aapke baarein.”

Shikhar Dhawan played a crucial role in India winning the second T20I of the three-match series against Australia. The southpaw smashed a whirlwind 51- the highest-score of the Indian innings- which eventually proved to be the cornerstone in the Men in Blue pulling off a 196 runs run-chase and taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

In the same game, Dhawan also went on to surpass Suresh Raina and Mahendra Singh Dhoni to become the third-highest T20I run-getter for the country, and he is now behind the legendary duo of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.  Overall, the southpaw finished with 173 runs during the Australian tour and he was among the top-4 run-scorers for India during the white-ball leg.
