Aesha Dhawan Reveals How She Met Shikhar Dhawan

There is always something intriguing part in knowing someone else’s life story. Isn’t it? Out of them, the love stories will tickle your bone to get into detail. Meanwhile, in the latest interview, Aesha Dhawan revealed how the love blossomed between her and Shikhar Dhawan.

Aesha Dhawan is the prominent personality in the Indian cricket, who often finds on the stands when Shikhar Dhawan is present in the team. Being a sports enthusiast, she already knew the life of a sportsperson.

Aesha revealed saying Shikhar Dhawan sent her a friend request on the social media platform, Facebook. As soon as she accepted it, she got the messages from Shikhar Dhawan, and the chat went on.

Aesha Dhawan thanked Facebook in her interview with Shibani Dandekar on the TV programme, Miss Field. It was quite a fun-filled one where she revealed a lot of secrets of Shikhar and also on few more issues.

Surprisingly, it was needed only five minutes for Aesha Dhawan to accept the request of Shikhar Dhawan before marrying him. She also revealed that Shikhar Dhawan used to follow her right after seeing her in the boxing ring.

“I was friends with some of the older cricket players because I always loved cricket and sports and everything, and then he had seen a photo of me in a boxing ring and he tried to add me. Straight away, 5 minutes into accepting him. He was like chatting with me and I was like wow. Thanks to Facebook,” Aesha Dhawan quoted.

However, their love story was also filled with a lot of ups and downs, as Aesha was a divorcee with two daughters and was ten years elder to Dhawan, therefore, his family was against them.

But the couple crossed all the obstacles on their way and married in 2012 by accepting her past and daughters. The couple is now happily married and blessed with a son named Zoravar.
