Overseas cricketers tying the knot with Indian women is not something that is very rare. Hasan’s wife Samia Arzoo hails from Haryana and has been working in the Air Emirates for the last three years.

Glenn Maxwell, meanwhile, will not be the first Australian cricketer to marry an Indian girl. In 2014, former Australia pacer Shaun Tait had married Indian beauty Mashoom Singha. The duo tied the knot within a year of dating and now have an adorable child. Some other big names who married Indian ladies are Shoaib Malik, Muttiah Muralitharan, Glenn Turner and Mohsin Khan.

Talking about Maxwell’s career, he is currently in England for the ongoing T20 Blast. The hard-hitting batsman is plying his trade for Lancashire and has finally found his form after a disastrous World Cup. In the mega-event, Maxwell averaged only 22 with the bat without a half-century to his name. He also did not take a wicket in 49 overs.
