Currently, the Pakistan opening batsman, Ahmed Shehzad is going through all kind of sorts. He was initially removed from the team after the emergence of youngsters in the side now he is likely to receive a six-month national ban for testing positive in the dope test.
Ahmed Shehzad is an elegant opening batsman for Pakistan in all formats of the game. However, slowly, he failed to enhance his skills as per the contemporary cricket thus failing to find a place in the national circuit. He was eventually replaced by Imam-Ul-Haq while Fakhar Zaman has booked the other slot.

It is furtherly came to known via The Express Tribune that the classy right-handed batsman will get the official notice in one or a couple of days from Monday (August 27th). Surprisingly, Ahmed Shehzad hasn’t given his statement yet on the issue following the tests resulting positive.
Earlier, in June, Ahmed Shehzad was handed a provisional ban from the game as per the rules and regulations by the Anti-doping officials. He was tested positive for his samples that were collected in May while playing in the domestic circuit.
After handing the provisional ban, Ahmed Shehzad was asked to give his explanation on or before July 27th to make things fall in place. However, Ahmed Shehzad hasn’t returned in the due date thus being eligible for the ban.
“He has been given till July 18 2018 to advise whether he wishes to have his B Sample tested and till July 27 to respond to the charges levelled in the Notice of Charge,” the PCB said in a statement on its official website. “The PCB has also provisionally suspended Ahmed Shehzad pending the outcome of the charges.”
Charges will extend to life ban if found guilty again –
As a first offence, the player will be given the ban for six months. If the very same player repeats the same mistake for the second time, he will be adjudged to two years of the ban while the third time will see a life ban.
