‘Live by the Sword, Die by the sword’; it was the phrase given by Harsha Bhogle to Rishabh Pant and seems like it is a perfect suit to it. During his innings in Chennai, he smoked a similarly continued his game delivery out of the park, and when he got the very same ball in the next over, he was a goner. Speaking of the same, Ajay Jadeja feels the Delhi Lad is a go-getter.

Rishabh Pant had an excellent stint in domestic tournaments and last year’s IPL has been the most significant exposure to the youngster. He also got groomed under Rahul Dravid before making his Test debut followed by the ODI debut.

Otherwise, he wants to add something into his arsenal to balance his hitting. Ajay Jadeja gave Yuvraj Singh as the example, who continued his game in a similar fashion and did great things for team India.

”I think with the age, he grows. I mean, as a player. Some players change and some don’t. It will be interesting to see him. If he evolves, he will be there for a longer time because he got the skill. One example is Yuvraj Singh, he is the one player from Day 1, who is pretty talented and never changed his game. He then became a successful player for Team India,” Ajay Jadeja said in an interview with Cricbuzz.

”One thing is for sure, Rishabh Pant is a go-getter. When I saw him in Delhi, I felt that. He gave up everything and continued his cricket. Finally, he found a way to get successful and get into the Indian team. If he learns early, he will stay in Indian cricket and serve for a long time and if not, he will give us some incredible innings but not like what most of the players do,” Ajay Jadeja inferred.

However, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for Rishabh Pant. The stylish southpaw has been impeccable so far for team India. Hopefully, he will enhance his skills and deliver the goods on a regular basis.
