West Indies’ limited-overs skipper Kieron Pollard recently unfollowed Indian Premier League (IPL) side Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma on Twitter. The allrounder came up with the surprising action just days ahead of the upcoming T20I and ODI series between India and West Indies. India will host the Caribbean outfit for three ODIs and as many T20Is next month.
Kieron Pollard and Rohit Sharma are longtime buddies both and off the pitch for the Mumbai franchise. Both the players have played an integral role in making Mumbai Indians one of the most successful franchise in the history of the league. Pollard and Rohit Sharma have so far won a record four IPL titles with the Mumbai-based franchise.

Unsurprisingly, Pollard’s decision to unfollow Rohit Sharma on Twitter caused a stir across social media. And it looks like the India opener is pretty angry with the West Indies star’s action. The right-handed batsman, on Friday, took to Twitter to post an interesting tweet. Rohit did not write any comment but just posted angry emojis while tagging Pollard, writing:
“??? @KieronPollard55!!!
😡😡😡 @KieronPollard55!!!

India-West Indies renew rivalry:
After locking horns in a full-fledged series in the Caribbeans last summer, India and West Indies are set to renew their rivalry once again. The Men in Blue will take on West Indies in three T20Is and three ODIs. The first T20 series between the two teams will begin on December 6, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Thiruvananthapuram (December 8) and Mumbai (December 11) will host the next two T20Is.
The three ODIs will be played in Chennai (December 15), Visakhapatnam (December 18) and Cuttack (December 22). Kieron Pollard will lead West Indies in both the series. On the other hand, Virat Kohli has returned to the T20I squad and will lead the hosts. Kohli was rested for India’s last T20I assignment which was against Bangladesh.
