Arhaan Singh And His Family Traumatized Following Viral Video

It was just a few days ago when a video shared by Team India skipper Virat Kohli went viral. In that particular footage, Anushka Sharma, Virat’s wife, and Bollywood actor was seen scolding a young man who had apparently littered the road.

Anushka instructed the person to use a dustbin from future. However, her tone could have been different especially given the fact that she is a well-known celebrity and many people look up to her.

Following the video posted by Kohli, there were mixed emotions on social networking sites. The person was shamed in the social media forum is identified as Arhaan Singh, who had earlier worked in Bollywood movies as a child actor.

However, Arhaan took his Facebook handle and criticized the powerful couple for their behaviour.

Arhaan stated that speaking a bit politely wouldn’t have made Anushka a lesser star. His mother also bashed the couple and shared a big note on her Instagram handle.

Calling it a cheap publicity stunt, the woman said that Virat and Anushka violated the Basic Privacy Rules by not blurring the face of his son.

Arhaan admitted his mistake. However, he said that the language which came out from the mouth of Anushka was far more filthy than the area which he littered.

The family of the shamed boy is totally traumatized following the incident.

“What happened was a genuinely unfortunate incident. That, however, did not warrant a video recording without my consent and public bashing. I come from a non-controversial and peace-loving family, but this incident and the threats that have followed have endangered my life and left me and my family shaken. My family members and I are living in fear of our safety,” Mid-Day quoted Arhaan as saying.

“We’re going through a nightmare. The kind of threatening and derogatory comments against my son and family have been traumatising… How can a tiny piece of cellophane justify my son being labelled as a “garbage man” “litterer” “criminal” “he and his family should be kicked out of the country”, etc? How is this fair?” Gitanjali Elizabeth, Arhaan’s mother said.

However “Virushka” hasn’t quite reacted to the words spoken.

Elizabeth also said that how she would have reacted had she been in the place of Anushka. She said that she wouldn’t have left their family to public hatred.
