India beat Pakistan by eight wickets and Hong Kong by 26 runs in the Group stage. However, the Men in Blue played fantastic cricket against Bangladesh and won the match by seven wickets whereas against Pakistan by nine wickets in the Super Four.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan has played excellent cricket in the Asia Cup 2018. They first won against Sri Lanka beating them by 91 runs and then won against Bangladesh by 136 runs. However, they lost their last two matches against Pakistan and Bangladesh in the Super Four. Thus, the Afghans will be keen to win against India in their next game.
