India and Pakistan should play more matches – Shoaib Malik
The classy all-rounder quoted that India and Pakistan should involve in more matches rather than in Asia Cup or ICC events. He feels that the bi-lateral games will improve the fans of either country closer together.
Further, Shoaib Malik added that both the team players are professionals in their work and behave like a professional on and off the field. He wants fans also to gel well when India and Pakistan lock horns.
“The India-Pakistan match in the Asia Cup is just another game for me. If you think too much about the India-Pakistan game then you create pressure for yourself. I would say that we should consider this just another game and would say the same to my team-mates,” Shoaib Malik said to Pakpassion.net.
“India and Pakistan should play more matches. Because people from both countries travel between the countries when bi-lateral series happens, it helps in uniting the people. Both team’s players are professionals and they know how to behave on the field and off the field. When we are not playing against each other, we are having meals together and that is how it should be, not only with India-Pakistan but with other teams also,” he added.
India vs Pakistan to be played on September 19th:
The Asian Cricket Council arranged both the rival nations in the very same group of Asia Cup 2018. They both will face each other on September 19th in Dubai.
However, as Shoaib Malik said, both the countries should find a way to lock horns often in the bilateral series. At the end of the day, it is a sport and something which can reunite both nations with fewer tensions.
