Pakistan Skipper, Sarfaraz Ahmed has assured that Men in Green would display good performance against their arch-rivals India in the upcoming Asia Cup 2018.

On Saturday (August 11), while speaking with the media ahead of the Independence Day event in Karachi, Sarfraz said that team morale is high, and they will go well-prepared against Virat Kohli-led India.
“We will perform our best against India in Asia Cup. We will go well-prepared to play against India”, Sarfraz said.
The Men in Blue will do their best to take avenge from Pakistan after an embarrassing 180-run defeat in the Champions Trophy 2017. It will be the first meeting between the two teams since the finale of Champions Trophy held at Oval in London on June 18.

Following political tensions on very sensitive K-issue, the cricketing ties between two countries left stranded.
In the Asia Cup 2018, Men in Blue are all set to face Pakistan on 19 September this year. Sarfraz Ahmed has so far shown a lot of improvement.
While asserting the first meeting, the wicketkeeper-batsman said,
“It will be our first match against India after the Champion’s Trophy final.”
The Pakistani skipper, however, denied commenting when being posed by a question related to chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Sarfraz Ahmed on PCB Chairman:
Earlier, the present chairman of PCB, Najam Sethi made it clear that he is facing some heat from Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after winning general elections recently.
Well, it is worthwhile to note many refer that Sethi belongs from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN). Moreover, the party is led by ousted Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif.
However, Sethi made it clear that he would resign if the new government will not be in his favour of being head of the PCB.
According to the sources, Sethi is likely to announce resignation after the oath ceremony of Imran as Prime Minister of the country.
