Virat Kohli Comes Up With a Heartwarming Message Before Independence Day

The skipper of Indian Team, Virat Kohli took to photo-blogging website Instagram – to wish his countrymen a very joyful 72nd Independence Day. In a video message, Kohli mentioned what makes this day more special for him.

In his video message, the Indian skipper recalled the famous quotation of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on Independence that he remember since his childhood. The famous quote is “give me your blood, and I will give you freedom in return.” Netaji used this quotation at a rally while addressing Indian National Army Indians way back in 1944 in Burma.

The Indian skipper also talked about ‘Vesh Bhusha’ that unites every Indian on this special day. Team India batting mainstay Kohli said there are some habits remain with the one. He talked about his one such habit that donning the ‘Vesh Bhusha’ on the joyous occasion of Independence Day has become a norm for him.

The 29-year-old Test-ranked number one batsman Kohli said that he will continue his tradition and will wear the same clothes on the impending Independence Day of India.

Two nominations from Virat Kohli for this Independence day

Kohli nominated his two teammates besides all of his fans. The two teammates who are named by Virat Kohli include Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant.

India is all set to celebrate its 72nd Independence Day on 15th August 2018 ( Wednesday). This day is marked with the zest and zeal throughout India.

The Men in Blue will be celebrating this day during their national duty in the United Kingdom (UK). Team India will celebrate this grand occasion in England.

India will lock horns with England in the second Test of pivotal five-match series. The Test will take place at the Home of Cricket, Lord’s. As of now, England is leading the series with 1-0.
