Shadab Khan could be the trump card for Pakistan:
However, Sivaramakrishnan thinks that Pakistan is exciting as well as an explosive side. They are the defending ICC Champions Trophy 2017 winner.
Pakistan has invested a lot in their young players and Sivaramakrishnan also said that he can’t wait to see players like Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam to play. It is a fact that Pakistan always has a strong bowling attack.
Laxman also added that Mohammad Amir bowls well with the new ball and is even furious with the old ball. He is eagerly waiting to see the exploits of Shadab Khan. He thus said that Shabad could be the trump card for Pakistan.
“Pakistan are a mercurial and explosive side. The defending ICC Champions Trophy winners have invested heavily in youth, and I can’t wait to see the likes of Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam continue to light up the stage with their sparkling batting,” Sivaramakrishnan said.
Historically, Pakistan have had a strong bowling attack, and it’s no different this time around. Mohammad Amir bowls well with the new ball and is dangerous with the old, while I will follow the exploits of leggie Shadab Khan with obvious interest. He could be the trump card for Pakistan as the tournament progresses,” Sivaramakrishnan signed off.
Laxman Sivaramakrishnan believes Shadab Khan will deliver big for Pakistan. He played 22 ODIs for his nation scoring 208 runs and bagged 33 wickets. He will be keen to do his best in the Asia Cup 2018.
