Teams will play a Super Over in a case of a tie in the forthcoming Asia Cup 2018. In fact, this is the first time that a super over is employed in the multi-nation tournament. If the final scores end in a stalemate position, then the final result will be decided via the Super Over. The teams which score the maximum runs in one over goes on to win the contest and thus take the points under their belt. Furthermore, only three batsmen can part take in the Super Over.
Therefore, if a team loses two wickets, then they can’t continue to bat in the Super Over.

Super Over will decide the result in case of a tie.
As it is going to be a multi-nation tournament, it makes sense to include Super Over. However, the runs scored in the Super Over are not added to the statistical record of a player. The Net Run-rate will also come into action if two particular teams end on same points.
