The victory in Adelaide is special for various reasons to team India. Virat Kohli and co have achieved certain records which the previous Indian teams failed to bag over the years. Meanwhile, the acting BCCI president, CK Khanna appreciates the efforts put in by Indian side against Australia in the first Test.

However, the current Indian side which is on tour to Australia became the first unit to secure a victory in the first Test of the series Down Under. Further, Virat Kohli also bagged an important record, as the skipper of the team.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli became the first captain in the Indian cricket to win a Test match in England, South Africa and Australia in a calendar year. In another story, none of the Indian teams registered a victory in above-mentioned countries in a single year.

Speaking of the same, the acting president, CK Khanna gave their congratulations for the young bunch of unit. Further, they also mentioned their special appreciations for Virat Kohli, who was superb with his captaincy.

”We congratulate Virat Kohli for becoming the first Indian captain to win a Test in SA, England and Australia. We congratulate him & Team India for winning the very first Test of a series in Australia. It was a feat that no other Indian team could achieve,” BCCI Acting President, Mr CK Khanna.

Well, it has been a great day at the office for Virat Kohli and Co in Adelaide. Unlike other tours, they have started on a positive note. Meanwhile, they will be moving to Perth to take on the hosts in their second game, which begins on Friday (December 14th).

Meanwhile, as far as the concerns are regarded, Virat Kohli highlighted the drawback of run-scoring by his low-order batsmen. He wants that to get sorted out ahead of the second Test.
