Australia vs India 2018: Internet Reacts to Virat Kohli's Screamer at Slips

India captain Virat Kohli had stunned the crowd with his effortless batting more often than not; however, on day one of the Perth Test against Australia, Kohli left everyone in awe of his brilliant slip catching. Meanwhile, the internet took notice of a one-handed blinder from the India skipper and thus praised him.
Kohli grabs a stunner at the slip cordon
Bowling to Peter Handscomb, Ishant Sharma bowled an inswinging delivery which got a thick edge off his bat and went in the slip cordon. Standing at the second slip, Virat stretched towards his right-hand side and grabbed a stunner. Though the ball travelled fast, Kohli was quick to react and left everyone clapping for his efforts on the field.

Meanwhile, Peter Handscomb didn’t seem to be any position to play that shot. To be precise, Peter played it too close to his body, thus not allowing his arms to open completely. Though he had looked in patches during the Adelaide Test, Handscomb scored seven in the first innings in Perth.
Earlier in the day, Australia captain, Tim Paine had won the toss and elected to bat first. The opening duo added 112 runs with Aaron Finch scoring 50 while the left-hander Marcus Harris had scored 70 runs. Meanwhile, the Indian pace attack couldn’t dominate in the first session while they boost up their energy from the second session of the day.
Here is how Twitter reacts to Kohli’s stunner –
Brilliant overhead slip catch by @imVkohli. Yo! Or should that be Yo-Yo?

According to CricViz Fielding Impact—which measures the value of fielding by considering the difficulty of the fielding event and the run value of the event (which varies according to the batsman)—Virat Kohli's catch was worth +23.50 runs to India. #AUSvIND
