Australia vs India 2018/19: Rishabh Pant Shows His Gymnastic Skills At SCG

Well, Rishabh Pant has become the greatest entertainer of the series between Australia and India. Firstly, he was the cynosure of the eyes for his sledging, later, surprised one and all with his amazing 159*-run knock in the SCG Test. Now, he showed his gymnastic side to the cricketing world on Day 2 of the Test match.

During his stunning show at Sydney on day 2, Rishabh Pant, while having drinks displayed his gymnastic skills. The moment left everyone go awe at him, as they didn’t expect it coming from a batsman, who was batting in the middle for quite a while.

Rishabh Pant scored his second Test century:

On day 2, Rishabh Pant scored his maiden hundred in Australia and his second in Test cricket on Friday in the fourth and final Test against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

After the stunning knock, Pant is now the only Indian wicketkeeper to have scored a century in Australia and he did it in style. Besides that, he bagged quite a few records to his name as well.

Before Pant’s century, Farokh Engineer had the highest score of 89 for an Indian wicketkeeper in Australia, which he scored in Adelaide in 1967. With the hundred, Pant is now also the second highest scorer in the ongoing series in Australia.

Pant is also only the second visiting wicketkeeper to register hundreds in both England and Australia. Jeffery Dujon was the first when he scored centuries in Manchester and Perth in 1984.

Coming to the match status, India is pretty much in the driving seat with 598 runs lead in the Test match. Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh and Jadeja are the performers on Day 2 of the Test match.
