Yet again Rohit Sharma is proving class in the middle. He unleashed himself on the Australians to whack his 22nd hundred in his ODI career. However, yet, he is figuring the ways to win the game, as none of the Indian batsmen supported him in the big chase. Meanwhile, the Indian fans salute to the terrific knock by Rohit Sharma.

In reply to the chase, India lost quick wickets, as the scorecard read 4/3. Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Ambati Rayudu walked back for a poor score their names while MS Dhoni hung in the middle to support Rohit Sharma in the middle.

The duo added a brilliant century-run partnership for the fourth wicket to send fear down the spine for Australians. However, an error in judgement by the umpire saw Mahendra Singh Dhoni walks back to the hut, at a crucial phase of the game.

Rohit Sharma scored his 22nd ODI century:

Once MS Dhoni lost his wicket, Dinesh Karthik found it tough to rotate for Rohit Sharma, which increased pressure on Rohit Sharma. The vice-captain of India tried his heart out in adjusting the run-rate but unfortunately, couldn’t get the support.

Earlier, in the match, it was Australia, who won the toss and asked Indians to bowl first. The Australian skipper Aaron Finch carried his poor form, as he was gone for a cheap score to his name. The new opener Alex Carey has got the start but failed to covert it.

Shaun Marsh and Khawaja added 92 runs for the 3rd wicket before Kuldeep Yadav sending Shaun Marsh back to the hut. Meanwhile, Peter Handscomb batted beautifully to stabilise the things in the middle. He found the fence more often than not and rotated the strike brilliantly. He finished with 73 to his name.

In the end, it was Marcus Stoinis and Peter Handscomb, who took the charge to go berserk against Indians. The duo got runs at a great rate to make things fall in place for India. Maxwell chipped in with 11 runs off 5 balls.
