It was a stunning comeback into the playing XI for Yuzvendra Chahal in Australia. He put on a show by displaying top-class spell at iconic Melbourne Cricket Grounds. Chahal registered the best bowling figures by an Indian on Australian soil equalling Ajit Agarkar???s record, which was created in 2004. Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag can???t stop himself from hailing Chahal.
The leggie was benched for the first two ODIs and replaced Kuldeep Yadav in the third game, who was rested for the ODI. Chahal finished with best ODI figures in his comeback back. It helped India to restrict hosts to 230 on the board.

Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag in his tweet to Yuzvendra Chahal quoted ???Wah Ji @yuzi_chahal, Chahalka Macha Rakha hai . 6 wickets, Shaabash.???
Last year, both Chahal and Kuldeep had bowled India to a historic ODI series win over South Africa but in the first two ODIs against Australia, Kuldeep was the preferred wrist-spinner for India. However, Chahal came in for the final ODI against Australia after Kuldeep went for 66 runs without taking a wicket off his 10 overs in Adelaide.
Chahal announced his comeback in style as he dismissed settled Shaun Marsh and Usman Khawaja right in his first over. Marsh was stumped by MS Dhoni while Chahal caught Khawaja off his own bowling to send the left-handed batsman back.

Later, he dismissed all-rounder Marcus Stoinis, which was very crucial for Indian side to continue their momentum. Chahal delivered a major breakthrough in form of Jhye Richardson, who shared 45 runs for the seventh wicket with Peter Handscomb and closed his spell by dismissing Adam Zampa.
Chahal became the first spinner to take a six-wicket haul in ODIs in Australia. The previous best figures for a spinner belonged to current India coach Ravi Shastri. Before Chahal, only seven spinners had taken ODI five-wicket hauls in Australia
