India’s gun fast Jasprit Bumrah who had surprisingly gone wicketless on Day three of the ongoing fourth and final Test match finally picked up his first wicket of the match. Bumrah got the ball to reverse back into Peter Handscomb who got an inside edge which chopped back into his stumps. Thus, Bumrah was pumped up after getting his maiden wicket of the match.
Peter Handscomb who was dropped from the third Test match at Melbourne made 37 runs. The right-hander was brought in as he has a good technique against the spinners. However, Handscomb can be on the mat while facing the pacers on the backfoot.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah was on fire in the previous Test match at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Bumrah had scalped his best bowling figures of 6-33 in the first innings. Subsequently, he backed it with another three wickets in the second essay. Hence, Bumrah took nine wickets after conceding 86 runs in the whole match.
On the other hand, India has put their noses in front as Australia is currently 280-9. The hosts still need 142 runs to avoid the follow-on and are staring down the barrel of the gun.

Kuldeep Yadav has been the pick of the Indian bowlers as the chinaman has scalped four wickets. Yadav could have had his five-wicket haul had Vihari had held on to a catch when Josh Hazlewood had hit the ball in the air.
Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja had taken two wickets on day three of the match. India had posted 622 in the first innings and looks good to clinch the series.
