The young fast bowler has been impressive in the recent limited over series and wants to replicate the same in upcoming 3-match ODI series as well.  Khaleel Ahmed believes that the motivating skipper Virat Kohli will help the youngsters.

Khaleel Ahmed has been instrumental in the recently-concluded Windies series and also bowled his heart out in Asia Cup 2018. He wants to repeat the show by taking a cue from the T20I series. This is also the best chance for him to press his case for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019.

The young left-handed fast bowler is pretty optimistic about his chances for the upcoming series. He wants to deliver the goods at any cost and added that he is all ready for the epic clashes. Further, Khaleel added that he has already done his homework to draw specific plans for Australians.

Further, Khaleel Ahmed showered words of praise on Virat Kohli for his fantastic captaincy skills. He believes that Virat Kohli can push Indian National Cricket Team to further heights with his impeccable captaincy.

” T20Is (against Australia) was a great experience. It was my maiden tour of Australia. Playing T20s was a big experience for me. It’s time for ODIs now. All I want to say is – I am ready. I will try to take as many wickets as I can for my team in ODIs. I observed each Australian batsman and watched their videos,” he quoted.

“We have got a great captain in Virat Kohli. He is motivating. We have already won the Test series in Australia. It was our maiden one and I am sure we will win many more in the future. I am sure we will win the ODI series as well. It will be the cherry on the cake,” Khaleel Ahmed said in an interview with Times of India.

Well, it is pretty pleasing to see the confidence of Khaleel Ahmed for the upcoming tour. The flamboyant cricketer has been the major headliner in T20I series and hopefully, he would deliver once again for the country.
