Earlier in the Test match, Virat Kohli won the toss and asked the hosts to roll their arms. Accepting the challenge, the Australians bowlers delivered the goods straight away. Once again, the Indian openers failed to knock runs for the side.

Finally, it all boiled down to 323 runs for the Aussies to chase, as Pujara and Rahane’s partnership helped India cross 300 in their second Innings. However, the Indian bowlers were at the top of the game and sealed crucial moments as well. All in all, it was a sweet victory for India in Adelaide. Now, both the sides will make their feet move towards Perth for the second Test of the series, scheduled to play on December 14th.
