Hardik Pandya is the prime example of what a hectic schedule can do to a professional cricketer. The flamboyant all-rounder was down in Asia Cup 2018, subsequently, missed series against the Windies and the tour Down Under. Meanwhile, the former great of Australia, Michael Hussey feels the absence of Hardik Pandya would hurt team India.
Hardik Pandya showed a glimpse of his batting talent in South Africa and then bowled an astonishing spell against England at Trentbridge, which inspired India to seal the game. However, unfortunately, he won’t be there in Australia, which would have suited him the better.
Hardik Pandya is a wonderful talent – Michael Hussey
The stylish southpaw quoted India would dearly miss Hardik Pandya’s services. He feels Hardik would bring the balance in the team, which would always play a key role in winning the matches.

Further, he went on to say Indian fast bowling department also got the goods to deliver the things. And also, Hussey felt Australian bowling section got the quality persons to make the things happen.
“I think Hardik is a wonderful talent and I am sure his game style would have been suited to the Australian conditions. Add to that, the balance he offers the team with his all-round abilities, yes I think his absence will hurt India,” Hussey told PTI in an exclusive interview.

“I do think India has a good chance as they have an excellent team with some very good fast bowlers. However, I think Australia’s bowling attack is world class and will challenge the Indian team, particularly the younger players in Australian conditions. Australia always plays well at home and hence will be very hard to beat.”
Well, as Michael Hussey said, India would miss the services of Hardik Pandya. He would have brought the much-required balance to the side if present in the team. All in all, a quality contest is ahead.
